Coach Tim Cone still surprised to see Yap playing for Rain or Shine

Tim ConeBrgy. Ginebra San Miguel Coach Tim Cone was still surprised when he saw former Star Hotshots player James Yap play for Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.

Yap’s basketball career with Purefoods came to an end this year, when he was traded for Rain Or Shine player Paul Lee.

Cone found it strange that Yap is wearing a different uniform, as to when he was playing alongside with Cone.

Cone also admitted that Brgy. Ginebra had difficulties facing Yap who contributed 10 pts for the Elasto Painters.

But even with Yap’s skills, Rain or Shine still tasted their first defeat in the PBA Season 42 last Sunday.

In the game that happened at the Mall of Asia Arena, Brgy Ginebra defeated the Elasto Painters with a score of 81-74.

Brgy. Ginebra will be facing Globalport Batang Pier this Sunday with one loss and one win.

Meanwhile, Rain or Shine will be facing Blackwater Elite this Friday for their 4th game.
