The Court of Appeals has junked the motion of Senator Leila De Lima to stop the Department of Justice from issuing its decision on the illegal drug trade inside the New Bilibid Prison’s probe.

Based on the decision of the CA Special 6th division, the Appelate court refused to issue a Temporary Restraining Order favoring De Lima’s request.

The Court of Appeals explained that the lady Senator failed to prove that she will be experiencing irreparable loss once the DOJ issues its decision regarding the said case.

Instead, the CA ordered the Justice Department to comment on the said petition within 10 days.

De Lima was also given 10 days to reply on the comment of the DOJ.
