A 63-year-old man died after a needle fish or ‘Balo’ to locals, stabbed its sharp mouth in the throat of the elderly man in Zamboanga City.
The victim was identified as Jesus Guerrero, resident of Barangay Talabaan.
According to the report, the incident happened while the victim, along with his brother and son are fishing at the Sitio Gapuh Sea.
The three were identifying their catch when the fish jumped and the sharp mouth stabbed the throat of the victim.
The sharp mouth of the fish penetrated the throat of Guerrero as blood gushed out of the victim and immediately died.
