A medical expert warned young boys planning to be circumcised this summer season.

Dr. Katha Ngo of Manila Medical Center-Infectious Diseases Specialist, said circumcision can cause death when infected.

Circumcision is the removal of the foreskin from the human penis, to prevent infection and reduces the risks of acquiring diseases during sexual intercourse.

Dr. Ngo also warned that a simple circumcision is risky since it might result to infection leading to death if not immediately treated.

The medical expert added that a sign of infection from circumcision is being ‘bloated’ of testis or scrotum.
