The newest transportation system “Uber” and Grabcar” are now being bombarded with criticisms in social media.
According to some irate commuters, some drivers are allegedly being selective with the routes they choose and even demand ‘tips.’
The complaints already reached the office of Land Transportation, Franchising and Regulatory Board chairman Winston Ginez.
Ginez stated that his agency will look into the said matter and that if there is truth behind drivers demanding tips before they book a ride, this may be considered as a ‘bribe.’
Meanwhile, GrabTaxi, through its official Facebook account apologized for the inconvenience that these incidents may have caused the commuting public.
GrabTaxi said that most of their drivers on Tuesday weren’t able to accept bookings as they themselves were stuck in the carmageddon.
It also promised that they will continue on improving their services, and disciplining their drivers.
