Additional cases vs Cedric Lee

The Philippine National Police is investigating the transactions of Cedric Lee, the alleged leader in attacking comedian Vhong Navarro, to ex-PNP generals.

Police Director and National Capital Regional Police Office Chief Carmelo Valmoria received a memorandum issued by the Director for Investigation and Detective Management (DIDM) to probe if Cedric Lee has any past and present ‘deals’ with former generals.

This probe is in relation to other reports that Lee has connections and transactions with former high ranking officials of the PNP.

Aside from the ‘business transactions’, the DIDM will also probe the background of the Southern Police District Investigators which were previously relieved from their posts for mishandling the rape and mauling case involving Navarro.

This move is in relation to reports saying that Lee has ‘contacts’ with the SPD where his groups filed the blotter against the actor.
